Find your best fit
Start with the space, not the spec sheet.
Pick the situation closest to yours. The guide below shows the cooler or pack most likely to make sense, with live product pricing and a direct link to the full details.
Standard freestanding cooler
A straightforward top-loading cooler for a home, office, clinic, staff room or shared workplace where reliable access to cold spring water matters more than hiding the bottle.
- Freestanding, bottle-fed and easy to position
- Choose Cool & Cold or Hot & Cold
- Starter bottles included with the current hire offer
- Ongoing 15L bottle delivery and empty collection
Premium bottom-load cooler
The 15L bottle sits inside a cabinet at the base. That means no lifting a full bottle overhead and no blue bottle visible on top of the cooler.
- Load the bottle at floor level
- Hidden bottle compartment
- Choose Cool & Cold or Hot & Cold
- Available in black or white
Contemporary benchtop cooler
A compact bottle-fed cooler for kitchens, reception cabinets, small offices and shared counters where a freestanding unit would take up more room than it needs to.
- Sits on a stable bench, cabinet or purpose-built stand
- No plumbing or floor footprint
- Choose Cool & Cold or Hot & Cold
- Regular 15L bottle delivery available
Warehouse Hydration Pack
Built for warehouses, depots, sheds and worksites that are likely to move through more water from the beginning.
- One freestanding cooler on annual hire
- Six starter bottles rather than four
- 90 litres of spring water from day one
- Cool & Cold or Hot & Cold options
Team Hydration Pack
Two coolers help prevent the front office, warehouse, lunchroom or operational team from all relying on one distant water point.
- One standard freestanding cooler
- One contemporary slim cooler
- Six 15L starter bottles
- Designed to cover two parts of a workplace
The format decision
Top-load, bottom-load or benchtop?
All three use 15L Summer Springs bottles and need no mains-water connection. The real difference is where the bottle sits, how it is changed and how much room the cooler occupies.
Top-load
The familiar bottle-on-top format. It is usually the most economical entry point and makes the remaining water easy to see.
- Best-value starting option
- Simple gravity-fed design
- Requires lifting the full bottle onto the cooler
Bottom-load
The bottle sits in a cabinet at the base and an internal pump draws the water upward. It avoids lifting a full bottle overhead and hides it from view.
- Load at floor level
- Cleaner, enclosed appearance
- Suited to customer-facing or designed spaces
Benchtop
A compact top-loading cooler that sits on a stable bench, cabinet or stand. It keeps the floor clear while still providing bottle-fed spring water.
- Best for smaller rooms
- Uses bench rather than floor space
- Needs a stable surface with suitable clearance
Choose the taps you will use
Cold drinking water, or hot water as well?
Most hire models let you choose the temperature configuration. The right answer depends on whether the cooler is only replacing chilled drinking water or also taking work away from the kettle.
Cool & Cold
Provides chilled spring water and room-temperature water. Choose it when the main job is keeping drinking water cold and readily available.
Hot & Cold
Adds hot water for tea, instant coffee, soup and shared kitchens. Current models use a safety control on the hot-water tap.
How the service works
The cooler is only the first delivery.
The value of bottle-fed cooler hire is the ongoing service behind it: bottles arriving when needed, empties leaving with the driver and support staying with the hired equipment.

Useful answers before you order.
What is included with a Summer Springs water cooler hire?
Inclusions vary by product. Current starter offers generally combine a hired cooler with an initial quantity of 15L spring water bottles, access to regular bottle delivery and support for the hired cooler. Check the individual product page for the exact first-year inclusions and ongoing hire price.
Does a bottle-fed water cooler need plumbing?
No. A bottle-fed cooler draws water from a 15L bottle rather than the building's water mains. It generally needs a level position, suitable clearance and a standard power point.
What is the difference between top-load and bottom-load coolers?
A top-load cooler has the bottle inverted above the unit. A bottom-load cooler keeps the bottle inside a lower cabinet and uses a pump to draw the water upward. Bottom-loading avoids lifting a full bottle overhead and hides the bottle from view.
Can I choose hot and cold water?
Most coolers in this collection are offered in Cool & Cold or Hot & Cold configurations. Hot & Cold is useful where the dispenser will also be used for tea, instant coffee or soup. Select the required option on the product page.
What happens to the empty 15L bottles?
Keep the empty returnable bottles for your next delivery. The driver collects them when full bottles arrive so they can be inspected, cleaned, sanitised and refilled.
Does Summer Springs deliver water coolers everywhere in NSW?
No. Cooler hire and regular 15L bottle delivery are available within applicable Summer Springs delivery areas across parts of regional NSW. Search your town or postcode on the delivery areas page, or contact the team if your address is close to an existing route.
Can I buy a cooler instead of hiring one?
Absolutley! Summer Springs also sells freestanding, bottom-load and benchtop models for outright purchase. These are the same, high-quality, comemrcial grade coolers we use ourselves. Visit the full water cooler collection to compare annual hire, purchase and short-term options.
