It is the glass offered before a meeting. The two-minute reset between jobs. The place where a new starter asks the question they did not want to put in an email. Good workplace water is a small thing, until it is warm, empty or nowhere near the people doing the work.
It should be cold. It should be stocked. It should be easy to reach. Nobody should need to lodge a ticket, drag cartons through reception or drive to the servo because the last bottle ran out yesterday.
Summer Springs supplies the cooler, the spring water and the regional delivery service that keeps regional and rural workplaces hydrated. Your team gets the water. Your administrator gets one less recurring problem.
A cold glass between calls, jobs or appointments gives people a natural reason to stand up, reset and step away from the screen or task. The water cooler has long been the unsung hero of workplace collaboration and idea generation.
Offering someone water before a meeting is a small gesture, but it makes a reception, showroom or waiting room feel considered rather than purely transactional. Imagine the suprise when that glass of water is a pure and clean tasting glass of chilled spring water.
Full bottles arrive on the scheduled delivery run and empties leave with the driver. Quantities can change as the team, season and workload change. For multi-site businesses, we can provided individual statements, or a consolidated account.
We're local too. We employ local drivers who deliver, collect the bottles and help keep the workplace supply practical. Your Summer Springs driver will also help to rotate your water stock.
Start with the people, layout and work being done. The right answer is not always one cooler tucked into the office kitchen.
For most smaller offices, clinics and professional practices, the standard annual-hire package is the sensible starting point. It puts chilled spring water in one shared area without purchasing equipment or organising plumbing.
The water bottle sits behind the lower cabinet door, leaving a cleaner appliance-like profile for receptions, boardrooms, medical practices, showrooms and areas clients regularly see.
One cooler can be the wrong answer when your office and warehouse, reception and lunchroom, or administration and workshop are physically separated. The Team Hydration Pack starts both areas properly.
Hot work, physical tasks and longer shifts can move through water quickly. This package begins with six bottles instead of four and places cold spring water closer to the crew.
A quiet ten-person office does not use water in the same way as a ten-person workshop, dealership or medical practice. Visitors, physical work, weather, rosters and site layout all change the answer.
This calculator uses the practical starting ranges we see across Summer Springs workplace accounts. It is designed to get the first delivery close, not pretend every team drinks to a perfect mathematical formula.
The useful part comes afterwards. Once we see your actual returns and usage, the normal bottle quantity can be increased, reduced or split across more frequent deliveries.
Approximately 75 litres of spring water.
Approximately $75 for the water.
A four-weekly delivery may be suitable.
Guide only. Cooler hire, cups and accessories are separate unless included in your chosen starter pack. Actual use changes with weather, rosters, visitors and individual drinking habits.
NSW work health and safety requirements treat drinking water as an essential workplace facility. Clean drinking water must be provided free of charge and positioned where workers can access it.
The NSW Code of Practice also says drinking water should be at or below 24°C and located close to hot or strenuous work where appropriate.
Hiring a cooler does not replace a workplace risk assessment or other heat controls. It can, however, be a practical way to provide cool, hygienic drinking water where the team can access it easily.
A cooler hidden in a distant kitchen may technically exist, but it may not suit the way your people, visitors or work areas are arranged.
A shared kitchen, breakout area or central walkway can make the cooler easy to use without placing noise or foot traffic beside desks.
A premium bottom-load cooler keeps the bottle concealed and suits showrooms, waiting areas and meeting spaces where presentation matters.
Do not make workers cross the entire site or enter the administration area whenever they need water. Keep it near the work, but protected from dust, heat and vehicle movements.
A depot cooler is useful before and after the run. Mobile teams may also need refillable bottles or smaller sealed bottles they can safely take into vehicles and remote work areas.
The cooler is only one part of the workplace setup. The ongoing service is what stops it becoming another forgotten appliance.
One office, two separate work zones, a client area or multiple business locations may require different setups.
Our team checks the address, access instructions and confirms your regular delivery schedule and driver for your location.
The cooler and starter bottles are delivered, with workplace access and placement details confirmed beforehand.
Usage can rise in summer, during busy periods or when more visitors and contractors are on site. Your normal delivery can change with it.
The things you (or your managers) want to know before choosing a cooler and setting up regular delivery.
It depends on staff numbers, visitors, the kind of work being performed, weather and delivery frequency. A typical ten-person office may begin around five bottles over four weeks, while a customer-facing or more physically active workplace may require considerably more.
Use the calculator above as a starting point. We can adjust your normal quantity once actual usage becomes clear.
No. Our own delivery routes cover defined towns, suburbs and regional communities from our Dubbo, Tamworth and Armidale depots.
Check the delivery area page or contact us with the workplace postcode and address.
We've also got a great relationship with several other spring water providers throughout New South Wales so we can connect you with them for direct delivery, or if you want one billing partner, we can arrange to have Summer Springs invoice for your locations that can be serviced by our partners.
Not always. Where suitable, you can nominate a safe and accessible location for full and empty bottles. We should be told about locked gates, alarmed areas, restricted access, loading docks, pets or site induction requirements.
Yes. Bottle quantities can be increased or reduced as staff numbers, seasonal demand and workplace activity change. Deliveries can also be paused during shutdowns or extended closures. Usually our drivers will manage this for you, most customers don't even need to think about it as our drivers will deliver more as the weather heats up and less as it cools, and will flow and flex with you.
Annual hire keeps the initial cost lower and leaves normal-use cooler support with Summer Springs. Outright purchase suits businesses that prefer to own the asset as well as maintain and manage it beyond the product warranty period.
Tell our team if the cooler develops a fault during normal use. Rather than carrying out a lengthy repair at your workplace, we arrange an equivalent replacement and collect the faulty unit.
Yes. Our easy-spike bottles are designed to universally fit most coolers. We've not come across one our bottles don't work with yet. You can order the returnable spring water bottles without hiring another cooler.
Keep them for the next delivery. Your driver collects the empty bottles when the full bottles arrive. They are returned for washing, sanitising, inspection and refilling.
Yes. A divided workplace may need separate coolers for the office, reception, warehouse, workshop or lunchroom. For multiple business locations, we can have these as one account and statement with multiple locations, or as individual accounts and statements.
Not by itself. Workplace duties involve providing adequate, safe and accessible drinking water and considering the work, hazards, location and needs of workers. A cooler and regular bottle supply may form part of that approach, but the business remains responsible for its overall facilities and risk controls.
Tell us where your people work, how many staff are on site and whether customers also need access. We will help you start with the cooler, bottle quantity and delivery schedule that works for you.
