Keeping everyone hydrated shouldn’t mean gambling on mystery “cheap water” or locking into a city-priced contract that doesn’t fit regional realities. At Summer Springs, we specialise in affordable spring water delivery for homes, offices, warehouses and worksites across regional New South Wales – without cutting corners on quality, safety or service.
This page is your honest guide to keeping costs down, choosing the right package, and knowing what “affordable” really looks like when you’re running a household or a business outside the big cities.
What “affordable” means at Summer Springs
We don’t pretend to be the cheapest offer on every comparison table. Instead, we focus on being fair, transparent and cost-effective over the long term.
- Real spring water, not “just filtered” – sourced from natural spring sites in regional NSW, with no added chlorine or fluoride and independent PFAS testing (by the way, no PFAS detected in our water!). See Our Spring Water quality & testing.
- Depot-based regional model – we operate from regional depots, with local teams and planned delivery runs, so you’re not paying for a Sydney or overseas head office. View our delivery areas.
- No account-keeping fees – you’re not charged a separate “admin” or “account” fee just to stay on our books.
- No delivery fees – deliveries along our regular regional NSW routes are included in your pricing, not added as a surprise line item. We always have free delivery for our routes.
- No minimum delivery commitments – if you need to pause, reduce or increase deliveries, we’ll work with you rather than locking you into a fixed number of bottles or deliveries.
- Returnable 15L bottles – closed-loop bottles that are washed, refilled and redelivered help keep per-litre costs low and reduce plastic waste which is all better for your wallet, and the environment.
- Starter packs & bundle pricing – pre-built packages that make it cheaper and easier to get set up once, then stay topped up. Browse starter packs.
- No silly fine print – clear pricing, clear inclusions, and a real team in Dubbo, Tamworth and Armidale you can talk to if something changes. Contact us.
In short: no account-keeping fees, no delivery fees on our regular routes, and no minimum delivery requirements – just clear, predictable pricing for regional NSW.
Simple ways to keep your spring water costs down
If you’re in regional NSW, affordability usually comes down to three things: the right cooler, the right bottles, and the right schedule. Our team can help you tune all three, but here’s the basic logic.
1. Choose the right cooler set-up
For most homes and small offices, a single benchtop or freestanding cooler is all you need. Larger sites or multi-level offices often save money by placing a few coolers in smart locations rather than buying slabs of single-use bottles every week.
- Homes & small offices – start with a single cooler and 4 bottles, then adjust deliveries as needed. Spring water for home or spring water for the office.
- Busy warehouses & worksites – a commercial-grade cooler plus a higher bottle allowance usually works out cheaper per person than sending staff to the shop to purchase single use bottles. Spring water for warehouses & worksites.
- Hotels & accommodation – a mix of lobby coolers, staff-room coolers and filtered units can deliver premium guest experience without premium pricing. Spring water for hotels & motels.
2. Use 15L bottles for your everyday drinking water
When you’re ordering regularly, 15L returnable bottles are usually the most affordable way to hydrate a lot of people. Cartons of 600 ml or 1.5 L water are great for events and travel, but for day-to-day use in the shed, office or kitchen, the cooler + 15 L bottle combination wins on cost, convenience, taste and waste.
You can shop all spring water sizes, including:
- 15 L returnable bottles for coolers
- 600 ml cartons for fridges, utes and meeting rooms
- 1.5 L bottles for travel, guests and staff
3. Set a sensible delivery rhythm
We'll make sure you've got enough bottles, and the right number of deliveries - usually fortnightly or monthly. If you'd like, we’ll look at your headcount, roster patterns and layout to recommend a practical starting point, then adjust after the first couple of runs.

Starter packs: the most affordable way to get set up
If you’re new to spring water coolers, our Starter Packs and seasonal specials are designed to make the maths easy. Instead of piecing everything together, you get a cooler plus a bundle of bottles at a reduced rate so you can trial the system properly.
- Home & small office packs – ideal if you want to see how much your family or team actually drinks before locking in a routine.
- Warehouse & worksite packs – like the Warehouse Hydration Pack, built for high-traffic sheds and depots.
- Team Hydration bundles – multi-cooler packs for offices or worksites with staff spread across different areas. See our Team Hydration Pack.
All packs include delivery within our serviced areas, set-up support, and straightforward ongoing pricing if you want to continue beyond the first year.
How to compare spring water quotes
We talk to plenty of customers who have been burnt by “cheap” offers that weren’t so cheap once the fine print kicked in. When you’re comparing suppliers, look beyond the headline figure and check:
- Cost per litre, not just cost per bottle – a big number on a carton doesn’t always mean better value.
- Account-keeping and delivery fees – some suppliers add monthly account fees, per-delivery surcharges, or require a minimum number of deliveries. At Summer Springs, we keep it simple: no account-keeping fees, no delivery fees on our standard runs, and no minimum delivery commitments.
- Contract terms – are you stuck for years, or can you adjust if your team or household changes? You're not with Summer Springs. Whilst coolers are generally a 12-month hire period, you can cancel deliveries at anytime.
- Water quality and testing – is it real spring water, and can they show you independent results (including PFAS)? See how Summer Springs tests and certifies its water.
- Service and response times – in regional NSW, missed deliveries and slow responses have a real cost on hot days.
If you’d like a like-for-like comparison against your current supplier or a national brand, send us your latest invoice and we’ll step through the numbers with you.
